COFINCAF S.p.A. (Hereinafter Cofincaf) is a company subject to the management and coordination of Luigi Lavazza S.p.A., which supports the customers of Luigi Lavazza S.p.A. and Lavazza Group (hereinafter Lavazza Group) companies with highly specialised financial services to promote the domestic and international development of the Lavazza Group and the growth of the companies financed. To achieve this aim, Cofincaf works closely with the Lavazza Group’s sales networks.
Cofincaf's financial services cannot be supplied to the public, but only to customers/distributors/suppliers linked to the Lavazza Group by a valid contract for the supply of goods or services of an ongoing nature, with a duration at least as long as that of the loans requested. Cofincaf operates mainly in two sectors, the Automatic Distribution sector and the Food Service sector, and also provides the following services:
HISTORY
Established in 1986 as COFINCREDIT S.p.A., in 1992 it changed its name to COFINCAF S.p.A. - Compagnia Finanziaria Industria e Commercio. In implementation of the Decree of the Ministry of Economy and Finance no. 53 of 2015, in April 2017 it opted for removal from the Register of Financial Intermediaries (art. 106 of the T.U.B. - Italian Consolidated Banking Law) and, ever since, has provided all kinds of financial services solely within the production and distribution chain of Lavazza Group goods and/or services.
